It turns out my Russian landlady is a real cheapskate and apparently unplugged the modem until she feels it is feasible for her to offer unlimited internet to her tenants again.
I think she grew up in communist Russia so I kind of understand that for her, unlimited means "Whenever she feels like letting us use it."
She lives in Canada now, but sometimes I wonder where she's really living.
So until she becomes a little more Canadian, which I believe is going to be around April 1st, the blog is on hiatus.
My apologies to my faithful readers, and we'll see you in April.
