New Year's Eve - The Locations

Well I finally have some footage available from the New Year's Eve job I did up in Haliburton. Today I will be talking about the places I went to while I was there.

The venue was McKeck's - The Blue Line

McKeck's recently underwent an ownership change and as a result, was overhauled. Now the only thing left under construction is their web site. For a traditional sports bar, it is the best I've been in. Step it up Toronto. I wish I had pictures of this gorgeous venue but I can't even find any online.

Second, we were put up at the Pinestone Resort & Conference Center.

This place is gorgeous but we didn't see enough of it. Every time we mentioned that we were being put up here, the response was an ooooh, or an aaaaah. We didn't understand because we checked in when it was dark.

But we understood when we woke up the next morning and opened the curtains. This picture is what greeted us. I cannot recall waking up to a view this gorgeous, well, ever.
