NHL Playoff Predictions Round 2

After the first round I went 5-3 and am tied for the lead with a blogger out of Nashville.

Because I am moving and do not have time to really elaborate, here are my picks for round two:

New York over Washington
New Jersey over Philadelphia

St. Louis over Los Angeles
Phoenix over Nashville.

Good luck to all.  By the next round I will be blogging in a new city.

Canadian Music Week #4 - Revivaltime Tabernacle

This wasn't an official event from CMW but it may end up being the most productive. I wasn't even going to mention it but someone captured it on video, and the next thing I know I'm getting texts and other electronic new media inquiries about the CD.

On Sunday, March 25th I played what may appear to be my first ever gospel live recording with the Revivaltime Tabernacle Combined Men's Choir. A gospel choir CD is something I've always wanted to play on because I love gospel choir music.

Back on July 7, 2007 I played on a live recording put together by my former church and though the band played phenomenal, it never got finished. So I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen with this Revivaltime project. I would like to have a CD I can give to my parents and say I played on. Especially a Christian one.

I was going to let this go but the guy filming it put out a bit of a re-cap/commercial on YouTube. The only problem was when I placed a link to it on FaceBook a bunch of people thought we played the song in the background, which we did not. So here is an edited version of the events of March 25th. Out of respect to the videographer, I will post a link to the full version here.
