Happy upcoming New Year everyone. There has not been much going on for me lately but my wife has styled another successful video shoot. It premiered on MuchMusic.com yesterday. The artist is Shiloh and the song is Can't Hold On. Hopefully it does well.

Holding down the Kaiso
Last Thursday I laid down some takes for the Fyahhorns again. The great thing is that there were three tunes they are doing, and I got to use all three of my basses. I got to use the upright on a kaiso tune, my fender jazz for the latin tune, and my G&L for the calypso tune.
There was also a photographer on hand who got this shot. I think she was just trying some of this out between takes. One of the band members was kind enough to get it to me. Me and Esty are sitting between the horns.
