Tomorrow I play at the wedding of one of my good friends from high school. I was asked personally by the bride to get the band that played nuit blanche at the Hollander-York Art Gallery in Yorkville. She happened to be in from out of town when she was living in Alberta and came across us playing in Toronto.
Just a point to make for future brides, everyone should be like her. I'm now going to use words that usually don't get associated with brides and such: calm, trusting, professional, in control (not to be confused with controlling), and on point. She left the music to the musicians so tomorrow it's all grooves and whatever the room will dictate.
I'm looking forward to a great day tomorrow with the guys and am very thankful that my lovely bride friend hooked them up gave me another opportunity to play with them.

Feeling Proud
There are always those times in your life you see an unexpected surprise. I was just minding my business until I came across a video of my favorite guitar student of all time starting to record songs and put them out there for the whole wide world to see.
I'll be honest, I've felt more proud about other instances in my life, but this one is up there, seeing her doing her thing, playing those Cadd9 formations like nobody's business. Way to go sweetie, you rock!!

A Video My Wife Styled
Here is a video from Delhi 2 Dublin called "Tommy." My wife styled it. It's a bit of a chore putting the clothes together but I really like it when she does music videos because I can see the results of her work in the format I understand best.
